Problems Logging Into New GroupWise WebAccess

We have upgraded our GroupWise system to 7.0. There have been a few cases where users could not login through GroupWise WebAccess. Until Novell releases a patch to correct this issue, the following can be used as a work around:

username: rockingham.mail.username
for example: rockingham.mail.doej

Enter your GroupWise Password as usual.

If you have any concerns or other issues, please contact Technology Support Services

I use AOL (America Online) at home and I am having problems accessing GroupWise.

The web browser built into AOL is not always able to use GroupWise properly. If you use AOL as your Internet Service Provider and experience difficulties accessing GroupWise, try following these instructions:

  • Activate your dialup or broadband connection with AOL.
  • Minimize your AOL window once it has connected.
  • Open Microsoft Internet Explorer (there should be a blue E icon for this perhaps on your desktop or quick launch bar).
