Rockingham Community College prepares individuals to go directly into the workforce through its occupational programs. For example, these programs include electrical systems, horticulture, welding, cosmetology, law enforcement, and a vast number of other areas. If your purpose is to seek gainful employment immediately after graduation, these programs may be appealing to you.

Rockingham Community College also offers the college transfer program. The curriculum provides students with a strong foundation for those seeking a bachelor’s degree. Highly qualified RCC graduates transfer to institutions throughout the UNC System and other institutions each year.
