Step 1. Read the Phlebotomy Admissions Website completely and complete the Minimum Admissions Requirements

Step 2. Attend a Phlebotomy Information Session (optional, but strongly recommended)

Step 3. Complete the Phlebotomy Candidate Review Form

Step 4. Meet with the Assistant Director of Enrollement Services in the Whitcomb Student Center to submit your Candidate Review Form

The Phlebotomy Program will be offered as a Continuing Education course for Fall 2018. This will reduce the cost of the course and simplify the admissions process for students. Further information regarding the dates and cost of the course are to be announced. Interested students should complete the admissions process and submit a Candidate Review Form.

Phlebotomy Candidate Review Form must be turned in to the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services in the Whitcomb Student Center. We are currently accepting Candidate Review Forms for the 2018 Fall program. Candidates will be contacted with class dates prior to acceptance and registration.

Minimum Phlebotomy Admissions Requirements:

  • 1. Complete the RCC Admissions Process including completing the RCC application and submitting an official high school transcript to the Admissions Office. See steps on the Admissions RCC web page

    2. Complete or place out of all necessary developmental-level courses in mathematics (DMA 010, 020, 030) and English (DRE 096, 097, 098)

  • 3. Meet with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services in the Whitcomb Student Center Admissions Office (after you have completed steps 1 - 2 listed at the top of this page). Bring a copy of the Phlebotomy Candidate Review Form (pdf).
