THE ROCK is the campus
newspaper for RCC. It is published four to five times per semester during the fall and
spring semesters by the students, faculty and staff of Rockingham Community College. THE
ROCK cherishes contributions from its readers but reserves the right to edit all
submissions in accordance with accepted style and space limitations. Articles and
editorials which appear in THE ROCK do not necessarily represent the views of the
students, administration, faculty, or staff of this institution. Members of the campus community are encouraged to send information to THE ROCK through its faculty advisor, Lee Dodson (HUM-116, ext. 2155). Deadlines for each issues are posted on this website and notifications are sent out to campus. Please plan to publicize your event, club meeting, or activity in a timely manner. Graphic art work and photos are also acceptable. (Please be reminded that our column width is about 3 inches and scale your drawing accordingly!) Electronic submissions (by e-mail or text file on computer disk) are strongly recommended. If you are interested in being a part of THE ROCK staff, please stop by HUM-116 to discuss your interests and ideas. Several ROCK staffers have gone on to careers in journalism. Creative and motivated staff members are always welcome! THE ROCK is now published as an on-line document. Each month the completed document will be linked from the RCC home page. Students may access it by clicking on THE ROCK's flying eagle logo. Past issues are also available on this page.
