Law Collection The law collection includes state and federal statutes, state and federal court reports, legal dictionaries and legal encyclopedias. This collection was established primarily for the use of Paralegal students and for the occasional use of county attorneys, although it is available for the public to use. Westlaw is West's online legal research service. It provides quick, easy access to West's vast collection of statutes, case law materials, public records, and other legal resources, along with current news articles and business information. Available through the internet to students enrolled in Criminal Justice or Business Law with a password obtained from the Instructor or in person from the James Library. The library staff will be glad to demonstrate the
use of the law books, but patrons seeking legal assistance are encouraged
to consult an attorney.
