The James Library provides reference services for students, faculty, staff and the citizens of Rockingham County.  With an extensive collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, statistical sources, biographical sources, directories, computer resources and a dedicated staff, we can help you find information on almost any subject.  Come by in person, or e-mail us with your reference question and we will make every effort to find what you need. You may also use NCknows all day, any day to get live online help from a librarian.

When appropriate information can not be located within the James Library, students and faculty may request articles or books on Interlibrary Loan (ILL) from other libraries.  Materials usually arrive at the James Library within one week by U.S. Mail, courier, or FAX.  Although an effort is made to locate materials at no charge, if the loaning library charges a fee, it will be passed on to the patron. Patrons who are not RCC students, faculty or staff are asked to request interlibrary loan services from the Rockingham County Public Library.
