ABOUT ~
Greg Janczak was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Fredonia, New York. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy where he served as an Aviation Electronics Technician. During his years in the military, he served aboard the USS Nimitz, USS Kitty Hawk, and USS Vinson. Married with four children, Mr. Janczak has lived in several areas of the country including tours in Alabama, California, Florida and an overseas tour in Puerto Rico. While enlisted, Mr. Janczak was selected to enroll in the military's Enlisted Commisioning Program (ECP) where he studied Aviation Management at the School of Engineering at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. In 1987, he received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management.

In 1998, Mr. Janczak finished his naval career, retiring after twenty-one years of service. After retirement, he taught mathematics at Robert E. Lee High School and Bishop Kenny High School while he continued his education in Jacksonville, Florida at Jacksonville University. In 1999, Mr. Janczak received his Masters of Science in Teaching Mathematics from Jacksonville University.

After graduation, he continued to teach high school mathematics and also joined the part-time faculty of Florida Community College in Jacksonville where he taught mathematics. In 2002, Mr. Janczak left Florida and moved his family to Wilson, North Carolina where he joined the faculty of Barton College.

In 2003, Greg Janczak moved his family to Greensboro to join the Rockingham Community College faculty as a Mathematics Instructor. Since he joined the faculty, he has enjoyed teaching all levels of mathematics. He is most recognized for his dedication to the course design and teaching of the Mathematics Models course.
