Sandee Key was born and raised in Reidsville, North Carolina. She graduated from Rockingham County High School and after graduation attended Appalachian State University.
In 1992, Mrs.Key graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.
Two years later, she married her high school sweetheart, John, who
also attended Appalachian. After graduation, Mrs. Key returned home where she worked in the accounting industry. After four years, she changed careers and for the next seven years taught at several Guilford county schools, including Northwest High School, Northwest Middle School, and Northeast High School. In the meantime, she attended and received a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics Education at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. Sandee Key joined the Rockingham Community College part-time faculty in August 2001. Seeking a Masters degree, she continued her education at North Carolina A & T University and in 2005, received her Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education from North Carolina A & T University. Upon graduation, she joined the full-time faculty of Rockingham Community College. Ms. Key lives in Brown Summit with her husband, John, and their three daughters. She is an enterpreneur and owner of Key Graphing, where she designed and invented Static Cling Grids for whiteboards. | |
