Gospel Fest

First Annual Rockingham County GospelFest, Saturday, Sept. 7th 

Wentworth, NC (Aug. 8, 2013) – You and your family are invited to enjoy the first, annual Rockingham County GospelFest, from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7th, at the Rockingham Community College Amphitheater, on County Home Rd., in Wentworth.  Please bring a picnic lunch, drinks, snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs and get ready for an evening of great gospel music!   

Rockingham County GospelFest is a free event but please bring non-perishable food items and canned goods to support the homeless in Rockingham County.

Rockingham County GospelFest, a collaborative effort between Rockingham Community College & Rockingham County Government, is a free, family-oriented, cultural event for all ages.  Featured artists, groups, ensembles, bands, choirs, praise teams, and mimes will present various types of gospel music including traditional hymns, spirituals, folk, country, rap, and contemporary.
