Vehicle Safety Inspection
Vehicle Safety Inspection is recommended for anyone in the auto mechanic field. Participants who complete this class and pass a state test given at the end of the day to qualify as auto safety inspectors. The course will train participants in proper procedures for conducting vehicle safety inspections and will include information on the operation of a safety inspection station.
OBD I/M Training
This training is focused on the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) I/M test procedure and requirements of the inspector-mechanic to successfully perform the OBD I/M test.Each step of the OBD I/M test is detailed in the inspection sequence. This detail is provided to ensure the inspector-mechanic understands the information printed on the new customer receipt, the purpose and requirements of each I/M test and why it is important to complete the test sequence in the proper order.
