GED & Basic Skills
Rockingham Community College provides Basic Skills Programs for adults who want to improve their basic skills or complete their high school education. Many graduates of these programs continue their education at Rockingham Community College or pursue job training opportunities.

  • Admission is open to adults 18 years of age or older. (Special permission is required for students 16 and 17 years of age.)
  • Classes are free of charge. A $7.50 testing fee is required for taking the GED Exam.
  • Classes are offered on the RCC campus and various community locations in Rockingham County
  • Please call 336-342-4261 extension 2146 to schedule your orientation/placement testing.
