Associate in Applied Science

The Business Administration curriculum is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system. Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.

Employment Competencies

Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge and skills to create opportunities and develop as an employee or business owner.
  2. Analyze ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines to evaluate business practices.
  3. Communicate using discipline-specific terminology appropriate for the task and intended audience.
  4. Exhibit the ability to work with others, analyze situations, and apply resources for solving problems and accomplishing tasks.
  5. Utilize analytical skills in decision making in areas of management, marketing, finance, accounting, and economics.

Employment Outlook

Employment of property, real estate, community association and food service managers is projected to show little or no change from 2019 to 2029. Job opportunities should be best for those with a college degree in business administration or real estate and for those who obtain professional credentials.

General Education Outcomes
