Forest Farming and Mini-Farming Courses Begin in January

Forest farming and mini-farming will be the topics of two courses offered in January through RCC’s Duke Energy TRAILS program.

If you are interested in learning more about environmental stewardship and the economic reward associated with forested land, plan to participate in Intro to Farming-January 16-May 2. Class will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30AM in the former Mayodan Library.

Learn to explore niche markets and assess the best use of your property for sustainable farming during Intro to Mini-Farming – January 18-May 3. Class meets on Thursdays, 6-8PM in the former Mayodan Library.
