Sales tax aids programs
May 7, 2021Rockingham County 411, informational show covering the local area, featured several College employees who spoke about how the county’s quarter-cent sales tax has helped programs on campus. John Ayers, Program Lead and Faculty in Agribusiness Technology, as well as Thomas Knight and Lucien Pere, Information Technology (IT) Faculty, explained new RCC campus upgrades, improvements and enhancements. Their presentation explained how the quarter-cent sales tax has been a beneficial investment for student career development, a prepared business/industrial workforce, and the local economy.
