Sexuality and Gender Alliance Meets
Aug 24, 2017The Rockingham Community College Sexuality and Gender Alliance held its organizational meeting to kick off the Fall Semester on Thursday. RCC’s Assistant Professor of Psychology Marianna Rader is the club advisor.
The purpose of the alliance is to provide a safe space for students to get to know one another and to promote understanding. The members discussed community service projects designed to raise awareness at the college and options for raising money for local shelters. Alliance members plan to attend area and regional Pride events throughout the year.
Sexuality and Gender Alliance officers are: Kayley Dalton, President; Rhi Hopkins, Vice President; and Sage Martin, Secretary.
