At Rockingham Community College (RCC), we are doing a lot to expand access to quality education. RCC tuition and fee costs are among the lowest in the country, and through a number of financial resources, we are armed to help you with financial barriers preventing you from attending college. By completing the FAFSA form (we can help you!), you will see what federal, state, and local monies you qualify for to help you financially achieve a college education at RCC.

Applying for Financial Aid at RCC

  1. Complete the RCC admissions process at this link. (You must apply for admission before receiving financial aid!)
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). RCC’s school code is 002958.
  3. When the Financial Aid Office receives a copy of your FAFSA from the U.S. Department of Education, a letter may be sent to you requesting any additional information we need to process your file. Once all documents are received, your financial aid file will be reviewed for a possible award.
  4. If it is determined that you are eligible for aid, you will receive a financial aid award letter along with several other important documents about your financial aid package. Carefully read all materials!
  5. Follow up with the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.

If you are a veteran, please see our Veterans Affairs page for additional information.

We encourage all RCC students to complete the RCC Foundation Scholarship Application.
