Step 1: Apply for residency

Use the NC Residency Determination Service to apply for NC residency. This MUST be completed before moving on to the RCC application.

Step 2: Complete Your Application

Use the same CFNC login and password you used for the Residency Determination Service to complete your RCC application.

Step 3: Schedule Virtual Appointment

Use the calendar to schedule your virtual meeting with the RCC Admissions Office via phone or by video conferencing.

Admissions Support

Rockingham Community College has an open door admission policy for persons 18 years of age and older with a high school diploma or its equivalency. This means that any person who is able to profit from further formal education will be served by the college. Rockingham Community College will admit high school students or students under the age of 18 who meet specific program requirements.

After completing your application, visit our Financial Aid page to learn more about applying for Grants and Scholarships. If you are a United States Veteran, visit our
Veterans Affairs page for help applying for your benefits.

TAKE NOTE:

RCC requires all curriculum students to take placement tests, however the placement tests
have no bearing on your acceptance to RCC. The tests are used to determine your
appropriate starting point in courses at RCC. Official high school or college transcripts
may waive one or all placement tests.
