Location and Services
The ARC (Face-to-Face Tutoring)
Professional and peer tutors are available to help students learn concepts in math, reading, English, Spanish, biology, chemistry, physics, communication and computer courses. Tutoring is a FREE service provided to all RCC students. Drop-ins are welcome, so come to the ARC today and let us help you become a responsible learner by helping you stay on track with your coursework, understand your assignments, and improve your study skills.
The ARC is located in the Science building ( SCI 113 -B). Services provided in the ARC include:
- Free tutoring in a wide range of subject areas
- Student computer lab with access to computers, printers, and headsets
- Study areas for groups or individuals
- Assistance with study skills and learning styles

Pisces (Online Tutoring)
RCC will be offering virtual tutoring hours with our very own peer and instructor tutors through a platform called Pisces! This means that you will be able to receive tutoring services online at your home with an actual tutor from RCC. Tutoring hours and subjects are below. To access tutoring, select the NetTutor link on the Course Introduction page of your Moodle course, select Pisces and choose the subject in which you would like tutoring.

NetTutor (Online Tutoring)
Students have access to online tutoring in addition to the tutoring offered through Pisces. This service is provided by NetTutor and is available to all curriculum students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
NetTutor is an online tutoring service that is customized for our school and staffed with qualified, U.S. based tutors who know how to help students succeed. Covered subjects include: General Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, Differential Equations, English Composition, English, Arts, History, Foreign Language, Astronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics, Finance, Accounting Management, Information Technology, Nursing, Criminal Justice, and Paralegal Studies.
How to use NetTutor
To use NetTutor:
1. Log in to Moodle.
2. Select the NetTutor link provided by your instructor. No user name or password required.
