Public Safety Programs

Home / Programs / Public Safety Programs

Many careers in law and public safety fall into the category of civil servants, individuals who take on roles to serve, protect, and help in our communities. Firefighters and police officers are responsible for keeping the public safe. These programs which also include criminal justice offer you the opportunity to start or advance in fields that serve as the backbone to society.

  • Basic Law Enforcement Training

Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) is designed to give students essential skills required for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments, or with private enterprise.

  • Criminal Justice Technology

The Criminal Justice Technology curriculum is designed to provide knowledge of criminal justice systems and operations.

  • Fire & Rescue Training

Fire fighters and rescue workers are heroes who risk their lives every day for others. If you would like to join their ranks, Rockingham Community College can help you achieve that goal. We have been meeting the continuing education needs of fire & rescue professionals in this area for many years, and we appreciate the time and effort they spend training to provide service to the community.
