Career and College Promise is a program that allows high school students to attend classes at RCC and earn college credit transferable to all UNC System Institutions and many NC Independent Colleges and Universities, or earn college credit toward a credential, certificate or diploma in a technical career from RCC. 

By earning these credits while still in high school, students can get a head start on the next phase of their education and save thousands of dollars in tuition.

The College Transfer Pathway

The College Transfer Pathway provides an opportunity for students to earn universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) credit toward a four-year degree. The Career Technical Pathway

Students earn tuition-free college credits toward an entry-level job credential or a certificate or diploma in a technical career. RCC offers Agribusiness Technology; Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Basics; Business Administration; Criminal Justice; Early Childhood Education; Manual Machining; Manufacturing Technology; Web Technologies; Welding; and Emergency Medical Science. Cooperative and Innovative High School

By attending the Rockingham Early College High School students can earn tuition free college credits and have the opportunity to earn an associate degree. For more information, contact the Early College at 336-342-4261 ext. 2605 or visit the Early College High School website.
