At the end of each academic year, Rockingham Community College recognizes students who have made remarkable achievements in the areas of academics, service, and participation. The following students were recognized on April 22 for the 2023-2024 school year:

From left, RCC recognized several students for State and National academic achievements: North Carolina Community College System Academic Excellence Award Winner Joseph “Lillian” Stanley, and nominees William Armstrong, Johnna Parker Moore, Alyssa Martin, and Thomas Blackstock. Johnna Parker Moore, along with Dakota Redmon (not pictured) were also nominees for the System’s Dallas Herring Award. Nominees for the All-USA/Coca-Cola Academic Team were Joseph “Lillian” Stanley, Thomas Blackstock, Alyssa Martin, and (not pictured) Rachel Rickerson.
