Nov. 1 Book Talk and Signing

Oct 23, 2017

The James Library at Rockingham Community College presents author John Francis Trump on November 1 at 12:30 p.m.

Trump’s recently published book, Still & Barrel: Craft Spirits in the Old North State will be the topic of discussion. Trump traces the history of manufacturing moonshine whiskey, gin, vodka and rum from its beginning all the way through today’s artisan movement in the state.

Still & Barrel also serves as a guide so you can visit the 36 distilleries making moonshine, rum from sorghum and molasses, aged red-wheat organic whiskey, and vodka infused with Tobago pepper. Compelling stories and history surround distillers and their products.

This is a free event and the public is invited. Trump will be available to sign books at the end of this event that is held in the James Library.

At RCC you can Start Local. And Go Far.
