Winter session is just 4 weeks
Oct 9, 2023Rockingham Community College is offering a four-week winter session, Nov. 20-Dec. 15.
The classes are the same courses taught during the regular semester, but in an accelerated format. They are all online.
This is the first time RCC is holding a short session.
“The winter session is an opportunity for current and new students to get ahead on earning college credits, improve their GPA, focus on just one or two courses, and graduate on time,” said RCC President Dr. Mark O. Kinlaw.
“It is also very beneficial to university undergraduates who need to complete general education or prerequisite courses ahead of their spring semester, as credits can be transferred to most institutions of higher education,” he continued.
Courses being offered are:
ACA 122 College Transfer Success CIS 110 Introduction to Computers ECO 251 Principles of Microeconomics HIS 132 American History II MUS 110 Music Appreciation SOC 210 Introduction to SociologyPayment for the winter session is due on Thursday, Nov. 16, by 5 p.m. in person or 11 p.m. online.
